Introduction to Xmipp
X-Window-based Microscopy Image Processing Package, is a specialized suite of image processing programs primarily aimed at obtaining the three-dimensional reconstruction of biological specimens from large sets of projection images acquired by transmission electron microscopy.
This web site describes in detail the various parts of the Xmipp program package. The user's site provides detailed descriptions and examples of all programs. The programmer's site provides detailed information about software philosophy and implementation.
