Welcome to the official Bound By Death development wiki — the central hub for all documentation related to the game's design, vision, and production, created by Ravenwhisp Studios.
Bound By Death is a dark fantasy co-op hack-and-slash for two players.
Lýriel, elven heir to the throne of Lyndroil, has been bound to Death against her will. With Death tethered to a mortal soul, the natural cycle has broken — spirits of the dead can no longer pass on, and the kingdom slowly decays under the weight of restless souls. Now the two must descend together into the depths of the castle to sever their bond and restore balance — before Lyndroil is lost forever.
One player controls Lýriel — a fast, mobile elven archer driven by duty and a fate she never chose. The other plays as Death — an ancient, solemn entity wielding a spectral scythe and commanding the forces of shadow. Their souls are tethered by the Soulbound Radius: a bond that forces them to move together, fight together, and fall together.
"She did not choose Death. Death chose her — and now they are one."
