PolicyWatcher 3.8.3 Beta 3

Beta 3 keeps the extension-first evidence workflow, closes the four CodeQL findings from Beta 1, and replaces the Beta 2 store package to satisfy the project typography rule.

Store correction

• Removes every literal em dash from tracked application, extension, test, documentation and marketing text.
• Uses PolicyWatcher: What changed? BETA and PolicyWatcher: Cosa è cambiato? BETA for installed and store surfaces.
• Keeps notification separator parsing compatible through the escaped Unicode representation.
• Versions the app as 3.8.3-beta.3 and the store manifest as 3.8.3.3 / 3.8.3 Beta 3.

Security and release evidence

• Closes the four CodeQL findings from Beta 1.
• Uses Next.js 16.2.11 with zero npm audit vulnerabilities.
• Includes a real SQLite API integration test and raw-content rejection proof.
• Runs the real Manifest V3 extension in Playwright Chromium.
• Adds a regression that fails if an em dash returns to any tracked file.

• 40 test files and 237 tests passed
• Chromium 149 extension smoke passed
• Extension validator, ESLint and TypeScript passed

Stable promotion remains blocked until limited-Beta evidence cycle 01 satisfies the documented tester, duration, browser, privacy and reliability exit criteria. Apple/TestFlight remains deferred.
