What does this change?
Built atop #15428, this implements revamped immersive article layouts.
Different arrangements are used depending on the main media's aspect ratio. The oft-used portrait atom is now
immersivePortrait, withimmersiveLandscapethe other fork.Context/inspiration on the fade effect:
Why?
For a fair old while now interactive atoms have been used to create pages that look a bit like this and this. They're so widely used now that they really ought to be first class citizens of the platform.
