Nothing here is obtained by breaching a system, defeating an access control, or using credentials of any kind.The rating is an independent assessment. They are not certifications, endorsements, security assessments, or audits, and they score published artifacts — not the quality, safety, or security of the software.

Equitable Bank is Canada's seventh largest independent Schedule I bank by assets and a wholly owned subsidiary of EQB Inc. (TSX: EQB), a Toronto-based Canadian financial services company with over CAD $144 billion in combined assets under management and administration. Federally chartered and Canadian owned, it markets itself as "Canada's Challenger Bank" and launched EQ Bank, its digital-only banking platform, in 2016.

Equitable Bank / EQ Bank does not operate a public first-party developer portal, and no OpenAPI/Swagger specifications are published. developer.equitablebank.ca does not resolve and there is no public GitHub organization.
Consumer-permissioned data sharing is delivered through the Canadian data aggregator Flinks (Flinks Outbound), not a first-party API. EQ Bank customers who provide explicit consent can share their financial data with third-party fintech applications, with visibility into what is shared, with whom, and for how long — Flinks manages onboarding, accreditation, and support.
Canada's federal Consumer-Driven Banking framework (legislated in Budget 2024 / Fall Economic Statement 2024, with the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada as overseer) is legislated but not yet operational. Data access today is therefore voluntary and aggregator-mediated.
