Re-reading the guidelines, I see there might be an issue with this bullet point:
VNDB indexes tens of thousands of visual novels. Thousands of those releases are R18+ and contain NSFW images hidden behind a NSFW prompt. myanimelist.net also indexes over two thousand R18+ Direct-to-DVD releases which are...uh, they're porn. Same deal with Anilist for anime and manga, but I don't think Anilist lets you see R18+ content if you're not logged in. |

On this one we've elected to leave it open for the moment, as it is possible that further comments from other people looking at this repository could help a decision to be made. Overall I wouldn't want us to not roll it in or roll it in without some kind of discussion/understanding where other people are with it. |

It's always possible to drop myanimelist.net. It does index R18+ content but it only shows censored R18+ show/manga posters. VNDB shows lots of uncensored R18+ content, but it hides them behind a prompt. If MAL gets dropped, Anilist is a 1:1 replacement that won't let you see R18+ content without a login (as far as I can tell), but there isn't a replacement for VNDB. |

jpdb.io is a little of a weird inclusion, but I think it will increase coverage and isn't too out of place.
I wanted to include http://www.jmdb.ne.jp but Mojeek doesn't appear to have indexed it because it's purely available in Japanese.
The
anime-eye.svgicon was made by Oni Lukos, available under CC-BY SA 2.5, and is used by Wikipedia here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Anime_eye.svgI uh, hope you can squash this into one commit, because this commit series was created purely with Github's web interface and I couldn't manage to get the icon and
.focusfile in one commit...
