Summary

  • Sole-author relicense, approved by the copyright holder: MIT -> AGPL-3.0-or-later. Keeps derivatives and network deployments open; prior released snapshots remain MIT.
  • LICENSE replaced with the canonical GNU AGPL-3.0 text; NOTICE license line updated.
  • License references updated: pyproject.toml, CITATION.cff, README status line, CONTRIBUTING.md, SECURITY.md; CHANGELOG entry added under [Unreleased] / Changed.

Validation

  • pyproject.toml parses (tomllib); CITATION.cff parses as YAML.
  • No remaining license-context "MIT" references (repo-wide grep) outside the changelog relicense note itself.

Sole-author relicense: Chelsea Kelly-Reif holds all copyright in this
repository and approved the change. Previously published snapshots remain
available under MIT; from this commit forward the project is licensed
AGPL-3.0-or-later, matching the portfolio's AGPL house convention
(SPDX AGPL-3.0-or-later, classifier AGPLv3+, NOTICE file).
