The comment suggests these will be “default reviewers for each repo”, but CODEOWNERS only defines ownership and auto-requests reviews when the repo setting to request code-owner reviews is enabled (and/or when code-owner reviews are required). Consider clarifying that this applies to this repository and depends on those settings.
