⚡ Bolt: cache traffic dashboard metrics query#58
Conversation
Implemented a 15-second in-memory cache for the `getTraffic` endpoint in `PoolController.js` to store results of the `prisma.requestLog.groupBy` query. This significantly reduces DB load during high-frequency polling. Co-authored-by: google-labs-jules[bot] <161369871+google-labs-jules[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>

💡 What: Added an in-memory cache for traffic dashboard metrics query.
🎯 Why: Frequent polling of the traffic dashboard caused unnecessary repeated DB queries (
prisma.requestLog.groupBy).📊 Impact: Reduces database load significantly on high-frequency polled endpoints by eliminating redundant aggregate DB queries. Metrics are delayed by at most 15 seconds, which is perfectly acceptable for traffic metrics.
🔬 Measurement: Run the traffic dashboard and observe fewer slow queries hitting the database.
