ha-pass lets you give guests limited control over your Home Assistant devices. You do not need to share your Home Assistant account or have your guests install any app. Instead, ha-pass creates a simple mobile-friendly web app your guests open from a link.
You can choose exactly which devices or sensors the guest can see or control. You set a time limit to how long the guest can use the link. After this time, the link stops working.
This makes it safe and easy to share smart home control with visitors.
- Scoped guest tokens: Control which devices or sensors guests can access.
- Time-limited access: Set how long the guest can use the link before it expires.
- Live updates: Guest screens show real-time changes in device status.
- Mobile-friendly PWA: Guests open the link in any browser or install it as an app shortcut.
- No need for guest accounts or app installs.
- A Windows PC or laptop running Windows 10 or later.
- Internet connection to access Home Assistant and ha-pass links.
