Claude Code bypassed the task venv and installed the SWE-bench pytest checkout into the main Python environment, corrupting pytest and pluggy for the harness. This sets PIP_REQUIRE_VIRTUALENV and PYTHONNOUSERSITE for both Claude and local SWE-agent command environments so global pip calls are rejected.\n\nValidated with ruff, mypy, and 26 benchmark-related tests.
