not an issue - adding more than 12 matrix

Hi,
amazing software, i'm using it from first version!
i'm testing the latest firmware and i would like to add more than 3x4matrix (12 in total).
It could be possible to add 2x 3x4 ?
So having like 2 string of 12 matrix display? maybe to connect do D1+D2+D3 that are free, could a wemos d1 mini (esp8266) manage it?
Zone0A, Zone0B, and so on to select/map string (A or B) and zone

I have tested with 16 matrix modules and it works.
Two x 12 is not supported in this project from what I can see.

Library Limit: The MD_Parola / MD_MAX72XX library defines the maximum number of devices using a uint8_t type, which means the theoretical limit is 255 modules.

Current Project Limit: 16 modules

Yes, the ESP8266 can easily handle 24 modules. 24 modules use negligible RAM (<1%) and SPI is fast enough for smooth scrolling.

Pay attention that you must use a separate 5V 4A+ power supply. Do not power this via the ESP8266.

You can change the number of modules in the code, variable MAX_DEVICES and build a custom firmware version. Unfortunately, I cannot verify this configuration myself as I don't have the necessary hardware for testing."

Hi, in this regard, is it possible to have the option from the web page to select the maximum number of modules to use, so as not to be limited to 16 and avoid compiling them manually?
Perhaps even the ESP32 could handle more than 24.
i would like to have one big display with 2 rows with 12 colums, like 12+12
