Poop Zapper is a browser extension that removes unwanted websites from your search engine results.
Tired of seeing lots of sites polluting your search results?
Right-click on one of the search results of your search engine to add the site to the poop list. The extension will filter all the sites added to the list to either hide them, make them transparent or highlight them.
The extension is developed for Chrome engine browser, on a Vivaldi browser. This extension can be adapted to work on Firefox. For now, only the search engines Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo are implemented.
Poop Zapper is designed in a simple and minimalist way, it only does what it is designed for and does nothing else.
- right-click to add a site to the poop list
- add the current site to the poop list
- choose between highlighting, making transparent, or hiding sites that are part of the poop list
- enable or disable the extension
- choose the search engine to filter
- manage the poop list (import, export, or delete)

- Download the files and have it ready inside a folder
- Open your browser and go to the Extension page
- Drag and drop the folder containing the code
- The Extension should now be installed and ready to use. Check the top right corner to check if you the extension icon
