👋 Jules, reporting for duty! I'm here to lend a hand with this pull request. When you start a review, I'll add a 👀 emoji to each comment to let you know I've read it. I'll focus on feedback directed at me and will do my best to stay out of conversations between you and other bots or reviewers to keep the noise down. I'll push a commit with your requested changes shortly after. Please note there might be a delay between these steps, but rest assured I'm on the job! 💡 What: Replaced
.trim().split(' ').filter(...)with.match(/\S+/g) || []for message token extraction across all tipper modules.🎯 Why: The original chained array functions created multiple intermediate arrays and closures on every single message received by the bot. A single regex pass avoids these unnecessary allocations.
📊 Impact: Reduces memory overhead and intermediate allocations during high-frequency message parsing, particularly beneficial for a busy Discord bot handling real-time events.
🔬 Measurement: The regex replacement preserves identical tokenization functionality but executes faster and with O(1) auxiliary memory relative to token count (rather than generating split and filter arrays). Run node formatting and verify tipper commands function as expected.
