Geophysicist (M.Sc.) working at the intersection of InSAR time-series analysis, geospatial data science, environmental monitoring and scientific software development.
Continuing my scientific work while bringing my skills into web and software development. My goal is a role where geophysics, data analysis and practical software engineering come together β whether in research, a science-related organisation, the software industry, a start-up, or a funded doctoral researcher position.
Particularly interested in satellite-based infrastructure monitoring, Sentinel-1/InSAR time series, geospatial data workflows and environmental data visualisation β and in using data and software to support more sustainable decisions about how human activity interacts with the Earth's surface.
- Building geospatial web applications and interactive environmental dashboards
- Developing reproducible data workflows for InSAR, remote sensing and time-series analysis
- Prototyping satellite-based infrastructure and ground-motion monitoring concepts
- Connecting scientific data processing with modern web interfaces β Python to TypeScript
- Strengthening frontend fundamentals (clean architecture, UI/UX, performance, React)
A data-driven web application for exploring real-time water level data from German gauge stations.
- Integration of external REST APIs (WSV Pegelonline)
- Interactive map-based visualization (Leaflet)
- Dynamic station-based data exploration
- Built with vanilla JavaScript to fully understand core concepts
π See repository below (pegeldaten)
- AI-assisted development (coding, debugging, data processing, prototyping)
- Focus on understanding and refining generated code
- Combining domain knowledge with modern development tools
- M.Sc. Geophysics β InSAR, time-series analysis, geospatial data science
- Scientific software development β Python, data workflows, reproducible analysis
- Web development β TypeScript, React, Leaflet, REST APIs
