Caution

This add-on is designed for Firefox for Android. It can be installed on Chromium-based browsers, but it has not been tested on them.

To enable User scripts, please follow these exact steps:

1. Tap the menu button (three lines) and select Extensions.
2. Tap Manage extensions.
3. Find Simple Gesture.
4. Tap the three-dot menu (...) in the top right corner.
5. Toggle the switch for User scripts to enable it.

From .crx on Chromium borwser (e.g. Edge Canary)

Step 1: Download .crx

1. Download simple-gesture-chrome.crx from here.

Step 2: Enable Developer Options

1. Go to Settings > About Microsoft Edge.
2. Tap the Version Number (e.g., Edge Canary 1xx.x.x) 5 times rapidly.
3. You will see a toast message: "Developer options enabled."

Step 3: Install the .crx File

1. Go back to the main Settings menu.
2. Tap the newly appeared Developer options.
3. Select Extension install by CRX.
4. Locate and select your downloaded .crx file from your storage.
5. Click Add when the confirmation prompt appears.

For Kiwi Browser

Support for Kiwi Browser has been discontinued as of version 5.1.6.

1. Download simple-gesture-chrome.zip from here.
2. In Chromium, open Extensions (e.g. kiwi://extensions).
3. Click slider to activate Developer mode.
4. Click +(from .zip/.crx/.user.js).
5. Select simple-gesture-chrome.zip.

Known issues

• The "Open link in background" toast notification does not appear.
