This combines all the previous submodules into one combined one here.

  • _data/news/news.yml -> data/news.yml
  • research/ -> data/research/
  • _posts/ -> data/_posts/
  • files/ -> data/files/
  • assets/images/ -> data/images/

data/news.yml is symlinked to _data/news.yml.

pages in data/research/ have permalinks.

collections_dir: data added to config.yml to make publications work.

All references to files and images were refactored into the new location.

The github actions should make it so when the site-data submodule is updated, the jekyll deploy action creates a new commit on master updating the site-data submodule to latest.

There is a chance this doesn't work to build on windows but I don't have a way to test.
