This pull request applies Rubocop formatting to the
appdirectory of the project(partially fixed some files, but, there are many other files that require manual updates). This improves code readability and consistency, making it easier for developers to understand, maintain, and collaborate on the codebase. Rubocop can be configured as part of the CI pipeline on commits. It's useful not only for code formatting, but, might prevent security vulnerabilities as well.For more info: https://github.com/rubocop/rubocop
