First public release of AppleNugs — a native macOS client for nugs.net (a port and expansion of nugsdotnet).

Highlights

  • Sign in with browser SSO (Apple / Google / Facebook / SiriusXM, OAuth2 + PKCE) or email + password — tokens stored in the macOS Keychain.
  • Gapless lossless audio (ALAC preferred; FLAC, MQA, AAC, HLS) with a real queue.

  • Winamp-style artist library — expandable Albums / Videos / Shows.
  • Favorites, four runtime themes, and a live quality dashboard.
  • System integration — media keys, Control Center, AirPods transport.
  • Built-in auto-update via Sparkle.

Install

Download AppleNugs-1.0.dmg, open it, and drag AppleNugs to your Applications folder. The build is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
