1. Consolidating duplicate issue tracking files (TODO_ISSUES.md merged into ISSUES.md).
2. Adding a GitHub Actions workflow for CodeQL security analysis.
3. Updating AGENTS.md to reflect the current state of completed features.
4. Refreshing README.md with new badges and helpful links.
5. Verifying that the codebase passes all pre-commit checks (Black, isort, Flake8, Pylint, pytest).
