Those were apparently taken over from light themes, but black drawing on dark background = not good.
Icon was not present and colored icon from some other source looked like an alien. This new icons are a variation of existing suspend icons but with the inner area filled out, so they should be easily distinguishable even in 16x16 variant.

The color selection did not make sense. White background and the font is almost white, so you cannot SEE your input while entering. Only when you mark it (shift-cursor), but even then marking color looked odd.
