Capture, edit, and save screenshots in Firefox — select a region, grab the visible area, or capture an entire web page, then annotate and save.
This project is a community-maintained fork of Easy Screenshot for Firefox, focused on bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and modern Firefox compatibility.
- Capture a selected region, the visible area, or the whole web page.
- Stitch multiple capture regions together for long web pages.
- Built-in editor: crop, rectangles, ellipses, lines, freehand, text, and blur.
- Save to disk or copy straight to the clipboard.
- Settings page (light/dark aware), reachable from the toolbar icon's
right-click menu:
- Choose what a regular toolbar icon click does.
- Choose an alternate action for Command-click on macOS or Ctrl-click on Windows and Linux. It defaults to capturing the visible region.
- Change the screenshot filename prefix.
- Open the download folder after saving a screenshot — off by default, so your file manager no longer pops open on every save.
- Consistent macOS-style filenames on every platform, e.g.
Screenshot 2026-06-11 at 5.31.24 PM.png.
