Hi there, welcome (back)! This website has been hibernating for a while until I recently rebooted it at the beginning of 2026.
Here, I want to document how I keep growing as a developer and put the concept of "learning in public" into practice. Later I'd like to go beyond developer-related content and integrate more personal endeavors as well!
In the near future, I'd like to add certain features, pages and content:
- make the layout and content of the "about" page more interesting
- implement MDX to use for content
- add a "projects" page where I document the process of building personal projects
- add tags for my blog
- add optimisations for the IndieWeb
- hide some fun little easter eggs
- ... and more!
This project was built using Astro, a Javascript framework I've loved working with so far. Hosting and deployment are handled by Vercel. My editor of choice is Visual Studio Code and I use Hyper for my terminal.
I used Figma to gather design inspiration into little moodboards and to visualize what I wanted this website to look like. I deliberately wanted to keep it relatively simple because I'm a terribly picky person when it comes to things like this and keep more challenging (and exciting) layouts and designs for the projects I'm planning to do.
