blast_to_prims

Houdini tool for blasting (breaking up) selected primitives into mulitple individual blast nodes.

Installation

1. Copy this repository anywhere & place sop_blasttoprims.1.0.hdalc into the "otls" directory that is within your Houdini directories:

   • Windows: C:\Users[username]\Documents\houdini[version]\otls
   • macOS: /Users/[username]/Library/Preferences/houdini/[version]/otls
   • Linux: ~/houdini[version]/otls

2. Import the tool as a HDA:

   1. In Houdini, navigate to File > Import > Houdini Digital Asset.
   2. Find and select the file sop_blasttoprims.1.0.hdalc & click install.

3. Locate the tool under the TAB Menu or Shelf Tools to begin use.
