This is a small open-source project run by volunteers. The expectations are simple.
Disagreement is fine. Personal attacks, harassment, slurs, and discriminatory language are not. The same goes for condescension, demands made of unpaid maintainers, and bad-faith arguments. We have all seen what those do to a community.
Maintainers and contributors are giving their time for free. A response may take a day, a week, or sometimes longer. Politely nudging an old issue is fine. Demanding faster service is not.
If you are reporting a problem, include the information needed to investigate it. If you are asking for a feature, explain what you are trying to do, not just what you want changed. This applies to issues, pull requests, and Discussion threads.
GitHub issues, pull requests, Discussions, and any other communication channels affiliated with the rinkhals-community organization.
If someone is violating these expectations, please contact the maintainers. We will look at it and take whatever action seems appropriate, up to and including blocking from the organization.
We do not promise perfect process. We do promise to take complaints seriously and to act in good faith.
