CollieDocket is built on a Node.js microservices backbone with each domain — scoring, registration, draw management, publishing — running as an independently deployable service behind an Nginx reverse proxy. All trial and scoring data is persisted in MongoDB, which handles the transactional integrity requirements of live judging without complaint. Redis stores the full historical leaderboard and pedigree cache for long-term retrieval. The frontend is a React SPA that connects to the scoring engine via WebSocket and updates in real time without a single page refresh.
