TTB formula approval workflows and batch compliance tracking for commercial meaderies
MeadLedger Pro is an early-stage prototype aimed at commercial meadery operators who need to manage federal compliance paperwork, batch traceability, and product classification without stitching together spreadsheets and PDF queues. It is a concept built over a long weekend to scratch a real itch — not a finished product.
- Batch traceability from honey sourcing through fermentation, with attestation records
- TTB formula approval queuing to track submissions and approval status
- Mead classification logic for cyser, melomel, metheglin, and show-mead distinctions
- Mid-fermentation reclassification handling for edge cases like wild yeast pickup that changes product class
- Label certification management tied to batch and formula records

The project is a single-codebase prototype scaffolded to model the core domain objects — batches, formulas, classifications, and compliance records — and the workflows that connect them. There is no external database or production infrastructure wired up at this stage; data handling is local and exploratory.
🧪 Early prototype / concept. Not production-ready.
Built as a proof of concept to validate that these compliance workflows can be meaningfully automated. Expect rough edges, missing validations, and significant changes before anything resembling a real release.
