The article is strong on the zero-code setup, but it would land much better with the target reader if it opened with why the obvious alternatives fail for binary data. Most people arriving here already tried InfluxDB or alternatives. One short section naming something like InfluxDB issue with blob data, broker persistence has no time-range query, S3 has no timestamp axis gives them the "this is the right place" moment before they read the rest.

From there, (assuming reader described in #335) the article skips the part the reader also needs: a binary payload example and explicit timestamp handling. The article is in a good position to be the only tutorial that explains it clearly.
