Summary

Documents the new Azure Workload Identity Federation (WIF) flow for connecting an Azure cloud account, alongside the existing service principal options.

Changes

  • Add an "Option 0: Workload Identity Federation setup (beta)" accordion to the Azure tab of cloud-accounts/connecting-a-cloud-account.mdx
  • Cover prerequisites, the dashboard-generated setup-azure-porter-wif.sh command (with --subject and --issuer flags), the three credential fields (no client secret), and how to revoke access
  • Note that the flow is gated behind a feature flag, so the new accordion is not added to the navigation

Context

Upstream PR feat: add script and instructions to azure wif setup adds a backend endpoint (GetAzureWifSetupCommand) and dashboard flow that walks users through configuring an Azure App Registration with a federated identity credential trusting Porter's OIDC issuer, eliminating the need for a rotating client secret. The feature is gated by the azure_wif_enabled project flag.
