This Coursera project takes Samsung accelerometer data and combines the testing and training datasets. It outputs a summary of means for all "mean" and "std" variables.
This project downloads, unzips, and tidies acceleration and rotational data taken from the Human Activity Recognition Using Smartphones Dataset Version 1.0. Smartlab - Non Linear Complex Systems Laboratory, DITEN - Universit‡ degli Studi di Genova.
The script downloads the data directly from the cited source.
The script outputs a file named "tidy_data.txt". It shows the mean of every "mean" and "std" variable grouped by activity and subject.
Variable definitions can be found in CodeBook.md
