some checks went into check_branch_conventions.py instead. Adds a comment so this doesn't happen again
An AP_Periph board with a README.md that has no image. AP_Periph boards must ship a README but need not embed an image, so test_new_boards.py is expected to accept it. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Drop CI workflows unrelated to verifying these new boards; the Test-for-Malformed-Commits workflow runs test_new_boards.py. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Trigger on push (so the branch's own workflow file is used), drop the ArduPilot-only job guard, and compare against ArduPilot master instead of the pull_request base context. Run test_new_boards.py even if the branch conventions step fails, so the board result is always visible. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
