Absolute Johannes factotum
- SCP-7544 (?)
- SCP-7544 is a plain, unlabeled corridor in Site-19 that isn't on any official maps, though some internal documents refer to it as the "Department of blank.png Meeting Room." When someone walks its full length, they experience SCP-7544-1, which causes their memories of everyday public spaces and conversations to become vague and featureless, and they recall long periods of inactivity when they were actually productive. However, memories of highly impactful life events remain unaffected. The corridor is kept locked, and janitorial staff are specifically told not to enter it.
- Spoonerism (?)
- The article describes a "spoonerism" as a speech error where corresponding sounds (consonants, vowels, or parts of words) are accidentally swapped between two words in a phrase, often resulting in a humorous or nonsensical new phrase. These slips of the tongue are named after William Archibald Spooner, an Oxford don and priest who was reportedly prone to making such errors. While often unintentional, spoonerisms can also be used deliberately for wordplay, in comedy, literature, music, or even to bypass internet filters. Examples include saying "blushing crow" instead of "crushing blow" or "runny babbit" instead of "bunny rabbit". The phenomenon has also been studied scientifically to understand speech production and cognitive processes.
