GitHub Release Notification
- The web interface now checks the latest firmware release published on GitHub.
- If a newer version is available, the main page shows a clear notification with a direct link to the latest release.
- The interface also reports when the installed firmware is already up to date.
New Sky Theme
- A new Sky theme has been added for the vector map view.
The Sun position is now available in bitmap map mode as well.
- Previously, this information was limited to the vector map view.
- This brings better feature parity between both map modes and makes the bitmap view more informative.
Moon Added
- Moon display has been added to the map interface.

Vector map
- selectable between URL bitmap and Vector map
- Vector map uses an azimuthal projection of the Earth
- the map center is defined by a 6-character Maidenhead locator
- the map shows continent boundaries
Map center and zoom
- the map center is set by a locator, for example JO60UC
- map zoom is adjustable in the range 1000-20000 km
- zoom can be changed directly on the main control page using a live bar below the map
Map themes
- the vector map offers multiple color themes
- the default theme is Night radar
Grayline
- the night area can be displayed above the vector map as a semi-transparent dark overlay
- grayline uses current date and time from NTP
- the NTP server for grayline can be configured
- grayline darkness can be adjusted
- if no NTP response is available, grayline is not shown and the status line displays NTP no answer
Sun position
- the Sun position can be displayed above the map as a yellow dot
- the Sun position is calculated from the same time source as grayline
Azimuth display
- the large central azimuth value has a short pulse animation when it changes
Elevation mode
- when Use only for Elevation is enabled together with Vector map, the normal map is replaced by a dedicated elevation display
- in this mode, grayline is not shown
- in this mode, the Sun position is not shown
- in this mode, map zoom is not used
- instead of the map, a stylized sky is displayed in the upper semicircle, suitable for elevation control
