I created a CITATION.bib file and added links to it in index.md and README.md. This resolves #86 and a part of #127.

Wouldn't you wait with the CITATION file until the paper is published in JOSS, and then add that as the official source people should cite?

Thank you for the suggestion. That makes sense to me.

I will hold off on merging this PR until the JOSS paper is published. After that, I will add the JOSS paper as the official source to cite.
