Drops main's dependency on the mbedtls_compat private-header shims; PSA is the only API surface mbedTLS 4 guarantees. Output verified byte-identical against the legacy implementation, so stored KEF envelopes remain decryptable. Host mbedTLS predates PSA PBKDF2, so the simulator keeps the legacy pkcs5 call for that one primitive.
