Dossier is a powerful, Django-based resume builder that helps users create professional resumes with ease. It offers PDF extraction, an intuitive editor, and beautifully designed templates.

- Upload & Parse Resumes: Upload a PDF and have the content extracted cleanly using
pdfplumber. - AI Enhancement: Resume content is optionally enhanced with recruiter-optimized phrasing using a connected LLM (e.g., Gemini API).

- Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/mune001/Dossier
- Set up a virtual environment:
python -m venv .venv # Linux/macOS source .venv/bin/activate # Windows .venv\Scripts\activate
- Install dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt
- Set up environment variables:
# Edit .env with your settings cd dossier cp .env.example .env
- Run migrations:
python manage.py migrate
- Create a superuser:
python manage.py createsuperuser
- Node dependencies
