Serv0 /sir-vee-zero/ is a small 3D printer featuring:
- 120mm x 120mm x 120mm build volume
- (with an offset bed)
- 230mm x 230mm footprint*
- CoreXY kinematics
- Rev Robotics Neo V1.1 Servo motors for XY
- CPAP Cooling
- Direct drive
- Structural steel panels
- As overkill as possible
- 2020 based frame
- X: 120mm
- Y: 123mm
- Z: 102mm
Without panels:
- Width: 230mm
- Depth: 230mm
- Height: 420mm
With panels:
- Width: 253mm
- Depth: 241mm
- Height: 435mm
Do note that the motors stick out the back pretty far, roughly an extra 38mm from the frame.
Bill of materials and other notes can be found at BOM.md.
This was designed entirely within Onshape. You can find the document I used here. Assembly.step also contains the full exported CAD--I recommend viewing through Onshape.
- Ruiqimao's Quicksilver, for inspiring me to make a tiny but powerful printer.
- Ruiqimao's Carveoff, for the really nice belt clips. Mine are directly inspired by it.
- MasturMynd's Pandoras_Box, for the clean belt path & idler design. Serv0 uses an extremely similar belt path.
- CloakedWayne's Monolith, for inspiring my tensioners & belt path design.
- Voron v0. This is my take on a v0--same footprint* and bed size, but with way larger motors.
- gsl12's Tiny-M. Tiny-M is one of the very few 2020 based "v0" printers and I based this off it heavily.
- Joseph Robertson aka HarrierPigeon, for constant advice and help with this thing.
- Max Goldberg-Spar aka 1mon, for being a great friend and advice.
- Hack Club Outpost for funding and community.
- Burgo & everybody else in burgo's discord server, for telling me when I was being a dumbass.
