⚠️ Note: The recommended way to install this extension is directly from Firefox Browser Add-ons. If you install it using the steps below, the extension will automatically be removed the next time you restart your browser.
- Click here to download the Locoloader extension from GitHub.
- Extract (unzip) the downloaded file. This will create a folder named
firefox-extension-main. Do not delete or move this folder after installation, because the extension runs directly from it. - Open the address
about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefoxin your Firefox browser. - Click the
Load Temporary Add-on…button, find the folder with the unzipped extension, and select and open themanifest.jsonfile.
- Before you load the extension into Firefox, move the extension folder out of your
Downloadsfolder. This ensures you won't accidentally delete it later when clearing out other downloaded files.
- Open the address
about:addonsin your Firefox browser. - Find the Locoloader extension, click the three-dot
...button, and chooseManage. - If you use Private Windows, set
Run in Private WindowstoAllow. - Click the
Permissions and datatab and turn onAccess your data for all websites. Don't worry, this doesn't actually give us access to every website. Read more about how Firefox protects you here.
- Open the address
about:addonsin your Firefox browser. - Remove the Locoloader extension.
- Follow the installation steps.
