Follow these steps to set up Chronicle-Mobile on your Windows computer. The process takes about three minutes.

Chronicle-Mobile uses a clean interface to ensure you focus on your content. The main window shows your list of entries on the left and the editor on the right.
Click the large plus icon at the top left corner of the window. A new page opens instantly. Type your title in the top box and your notes in the large area below. The app saves your work automatically as you type.
Use the search bar at the top of the interface to find past entries. Type any word or phrase found in your notes. The application filters your list in real-time as you type to show matching results.
Right-click on any entry in your list to assign a category or tag. This helps you organize work, personal, or project notes. You can view specific categories by clicking the filter icon near the search bar.
Your data stays on your local machine. Chronicle-Mobile does not connect to external servers or track your activity. You own every character you type. If you want to move your data to another computer, copy the folder located in your Documents directory labeled "Chronicle-Mobile-Data" and move it to the same location on your new device.
Can I import notes from other apps? Yes. You can import text files directly. Open the Settings menu and look for the Import option.
Does the app work offline? The software functions entirely offline. You do not need an internet connection to write, search, or view your notes.
How do I update the software? When a new version becomes available, the app notifies you. You can return to the releases page to download the updated installer. The installer detects your previous installation and keeps your existing notes intact.
