Hi, I'm Abigail. I'm a 21yo web developer, and on the side I mod video games, create music, and play in the snow :)

🌸languages

• JavaScript: my first coding language. I have 10+ years of experence with it (I remember the days of var instead of let) and I've coded a wide range of applications in pure JavaScript: a research tool, a block-based Discord bot generator, an intermediate step for a custom toolchain, and many more :) JavaScript will always be close to my heart, but it's not my primary language anymore.
• TypeScript: my main language! I have <1 year of experience with it, but when paired with my JavaScript experience I've been able to push my developing skills to new heights; with Typescript I've been able to make a card game and a JavaScript Framework. I've also used TypeScript professionally for the company PREFcards, and aim to use this language a lot more, both professionally and personally.
• Java: my second most used language, but easily a contender for my favorite. With 5+ years of Java experience, I've used Java mainly to develop my Minecraft mods, and I've used it professionally during my time at PREFcards as well.
• C# - a language I've picked recently, but learned up fast! I use C# almost exclusively for creating Celeste mods. Because of my unique developing experience with C#, I'm fluent in reading C# IL code as well.
• Lua - I've learned Lua through Roblox and Celeste development, and have a combined 2 years of experience with the language. It's not my strongest skill, but I am comfortable navigating all of Lua's unque quirks.
• Python - not my favorite, but a great utility language! I learned Python in the winter of 2023, and have used that knowledge to tutor college CS students and to build a small video game.
• HTML/CSS - not coding languages, but I have 5+ years of experience creating webpages and user interfaces with HTML and CSS. I'm very familliar with both languages :)

🏔️hobbies

• I love gaming; my favorite games right now are Celeste, VRChat, and Minecraft! I love puzzle games, platformers, and rhythm games, but I'll give most games a try.
• I create music! I love playing piano, singing, and writing EDM. I've been involved in music for 12+ years, it's easily my biggest passion besides coding. You can find me on Spotify and YouTube Music under the name KYFEX.
• I code even when I'm not on the clock :) I write Minecraft mods and maintain my own website.
