Building hands-on AWS projects while transitioning into cloud engineering and IT support roles.
Portfolio · Live Dashboard · Project Details · Cloud Resume Repo
A hands-on AWS portfolio project built to demonstrate cloud hosting, serverless backend logic, monitoring, CI/CD, security hardening and troubleshooting.
This project includes:
- Secure static website hosting using S3, CloudFront, Route 53 and ACM
- Private S3 access through CloudFront Origin Access Control
- Serverless visitor counter using API Gateway, Lambda and DynamoDB
- Live dashboard for total views and daily unique visitors
- CloudWatch logs, metrics and dashboard visibility
- GitHub Actions CI/CD deployment
- CloudFront cache invalidation
- GitHub Secrets and SSH-based Git authentication
AWS services used in my cloud project:
S3 · CloudFront · Route 53 · ACM · API Gateway · Lambda · DynamoDB · CloudWatch · IAM · Origin Access Control
While building my AWS cloud resume project, I worked through real issues including:
- S3 / CloudFront
403 AccessDeniederrors - CloudFront Origin Access Control and private S3 access
- API Gateway / Lambda backend errors
- DynamoDB update expression issues
- CloudFront cache invalidation problems
- GitHub Actions YAML and deployment failures
- CSP / browser security restrictions
- DNS, SSL certificate and custom domain issues
- GitHub authentication changes from password/token problems to SSH
- AWS cloud architecture fundamentals
- Linux and networking basics
- Cloud support troubleshooting
- GitHub Actions and CI/CD
- Monitoring with CloudWatch
- Security, IAM and documentation
- Python for cloud automation and Lambda functions
My goal is to move into an entry-level cloud, IT support or cloud support role where I can keep building practical skills across AWS, troubleshooting, monitoring, documentation and secure cloud operations.
Project Phoenix is my hands-on pathway into cloud engineering.
I’m building practical projects that show how I learn, troubleshoot, document and improve cloud systems over time.
