This extension to Google Chrome browser allows user to select name of a place on the webpage and quickly find it in a popup map
Project goals
- Quick lookup of a place : User can select a text on a webpage and click the extension button. The popup map will pin the location on the map which best matches the text selected.
- Locate a place with respect to your location : The zoom level of the popup map should be such that user location's pin should be visible.
