Since this is a python file (.py extension), we'd actually want to move this in the python-scripts/ directory at the root of the project. If you do move it, please append your username to the filename, like main-reynard-fox.py.

Sweet markdown file, @reynard-fox! This is almost good to merge into the main branch, but if you could address the comment in markdown/main.py and remove the main/python-scripts, that'd be great!
