This template should help get you started developing with Vue 3 in Vite.

Recommended IDE Setup

VSCode + Volar (and disable Vetur).

Type Support for .vue Imports in TS

TypeScript cannot handle type information for .vue imports by default, so we replace the tsc CLI with vue-tsc for type checking. In editors, we need Volar to make the TypeScript language service aware of .vue types.

Project Setup

npm install

Compile and Hot-Reload for Development

npm run dev

Type-Check, Compile and Minify for Production

npm run build

Setup Firebase with Firestore and Auth

Create a Firebase account with Firestore in the Google Firebase web console. Add authentication with email/password. Put the config variables in a .env file in the root directory of this project.

Then, in ptoject base, run:

npm install -g firebase-tools

then

firebase init
