Six-month capstone on real transaction data from a Top-50 global freight forwarder. Spent most of the first month just making the data usable — ~30% of records were misclassified or uncategorised.
- Restructured 10,000+ transaction records across 9 regional hubs
- Reclaimed ~30% misclassified operational data via comment log parsing
- Identified that overall revenue stagnation was driven by Nominated Shipments — largely outside local control — while Direct Shipments showed ~32% revenue and ~51% profit efficiency gains YoY
- Diagnosed a 48% drop in new customer acquisition limiting Direct Shipment growth
- Presented strategic roadmap to senior management recommending focus on scaling Direct Shipments via ERP/CRM adoption and ABM strategies
