## Description The iOS and macOS apps previously could not sync at all: `toku-ffi` exported no sync functions, so the fully-built `toku-sync` server and CLI sync engine were unreachable from the native apps. This PR closes that gap and makes "import Goodreads on one device, keep reading on another" actually work. Approach: - **Extracted a shared `toku-sync-client` crate.** Sync orchestration previously lived inside the CLI binary's `cmd_sync`, which the FFI layer can't depend on. The reusable crate exposes presentation-free `init/push/pull/status/devices` functions returning structured, serializable outcomes. The CLI now consumes it and keeps only output formatting / passphrase prompting; the FFI layer reuses the exact same logic. - **Added 5 C FFI functions** (`toku_sync_init/push/pull/status/devices`) that take a data-dir path and return JSON. Each opens its own DB connection + current-thread Tokio runtime per call, avoiding the non-`Send` SQLite handle and matching the apps' serial-queue threading model. The cbindgen header is regenerated. - **Swift binding + UI.** `TokuFFI` gains typed sync methods, `SyncViewModel` drives the work off the main thread, and a shared `SyncSettingsView` (in `TokuKitUI`) provides server setup, optional end-to-end encryption passphrase, "Sync Now"/push/pull, and a pending-changes + device list. Reachable from macOS Settings and the iOS Sync screen / iPad sidebar. - **Sync-on-launch.** When sync is configured, both apps run a best-effort push/pull once on launch and refresh the library and stats only if remote changes were applied. Failures are silent and non-blocking (the server may be offline at launch). Worth a careful look: - The app targets are source-only in this repo (no committed `.xcodeproj`), so they can't be Xcode-built in CI. The `TokuKit` + `TokuKitUI` Swift package builds clean; app-target files were syntax-verified.
