I am a doctoral researcher at Ghent University. My research focuses on the safe integration of hydrogen into existing pipeline infrastructure. I specialize in studying the impact of hydrogen on pipeline steels to mitigate the risk of hydrogen embrittlement (HE). My work aims to accelerate the transition to a sustainable energy economy by leveraging existing natural gas infrastructure for hydrogen transport.
