The current sensors implementation does not really provide people with a unified way of tracking sensor information as well as the functionality of sensors (e.g., threading) and instead allows people to cobble together MADARA threads and object oriented concepts. We should merge what we know about current implementations of platforms like the mmp40 tracked robot, Emlid localization, Oak-d cameras, etc. into a standardized way of implementing GAMS sensors.
