HayTag is a hardware platform using STM32L and SPIRIT1, both chips from STMicroelectronics. It also uses some energy harvesting hardware. OpenTag is being ported to HayTag. Specific tasks: - STM32L platform must be configured for minimum power using STOP mode. This requires clever manipulation of the LSE timer. - Usage of PVD hardware (supply voltage monitor on STM32) must be implemented to make sure battery is in safe range. Do shutdown on fail condition. - SPIRIT1 RF driver must be designed and tested. - New board support header[s] needed. - Implementation of HICCULP kernel for Cortex-M
Overdue by 13 year(s)•Due by January 23, 2013Combination of OpenTag 0.4 with Energia for MSP430/CC430. Energia is an Arduino fork for MSP430. It is also on GitHub. The resulting demo will allow Energia code to be run on the OpenTag platform, in parallel with OpenTag and with hooks into the OpenTag API for sending DASH7 packets as well as serial packets. The normal Energia API allows access to the rest of the MSP430 resources. There will also be a coinciding hardware release.
