What is fairy ?

fairy helps you do stuff by casting “spells”. One of the main spell is esper, which allows you to run SQL over flat file in conjunction with a couple of other useful file parsing/reformatting spells. I find it very useful so I am putting it up here.

People at Ning who have a taste of what this can do can think of this as “dewalt reimagined”. It is a complete rewrite of the most useful part of dewalt and it is open-source.

java -jar fairy.jar <spell> <args>
or simply 
fairy <spell> <args>
